Katrin Muller

Katrin Muller has been creating bears for over ten years. Her first notable commercial event was the 1995 Nuremberg Toy Fair the Teddy Bear Total Exhibition. She was already well-known for creating small, hand painted pottery for bears and dolls, but that year she tried her hand at creating her own teddy bears. Her unusual bears featured unique costumes, accessories, and were made of the finest materials. Her pioneering use of colour in her bears also sparked a new trend in bear making. The Katrin Muller signature long neck and short legged bears are her best known and most imitated by other artists.
